TCL Play 2 and Play 2C mobiles unveiled in China

TCL chinese manufacturer revealed two new budget smartphones with fingerprint sensor named as Play 2 and Play 2C. The manufacturer will roll out the play 2 smartphone in china before the end of December 2015. The play 2c mobile will up for preorder in china on December 10. The play 2c sales for ordered customer will start on December 18. The launch price of play 2 and play 2c will be 899 yuan or $140 USD and 699 yuan or $109 USD.

The play 2 has 5-inch HD display, on-cell touch technology, dual sim, android 5.1 lollipop os and 4G LTE network. It runs on qualcomm snapdragon 617 chipset, 1.5 GHz octa core processor and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expandable via microSD card. It has 13MP back camera and 5MP front camera. The camera features F2.0 aperture, 5p lens, 1080p video recording, macro mode, night mode, make-up mode and more. It houses fingerprint sensor which can be used to unlock guest mode, app lock/unlock, one-touch answer key and more. There is also infrared sensor which will convert this smartphone as a universal remote control. It has 2500 mAh battery with 48 hrs of standby time. It will be available in three optional colors - cherry pink, white and champagne gold.

The play 2c has same 5-inch HD display, dual sim slot, 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 4G LTE network, fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor and android 5.1 lollipop os. Unlike play 2, it will be powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor and qualcomm snapdragon 410 chipset. The play 2c rear camera is downgraded to 8MP, but the selfie camera is upgraded from 5MP to 8MP. Additionally there is a LED flash support for front camera. The battery capacity also downgraded to 2000 mAh which also offers 48 hrs of standby time. It will be available in shining white and champagne gold colors.
