Verizon Samsung S6 and S6 Edge receives new software update

Verizon wireless has released a new software update to samsung galaxy s6 and s6 edge smartphone users. This update includes the some new features, bug fixes and performance enhancements for these two devices. It will also update the latest android security patch level for these handsets. This update brings new software version MMB29K.G920VVRU4CPD2 (galaxy s6) and MMB29K.G925VVRU4CPD2 (galaxy s6 edge).

The carrier has posted the list of new features and bug fixes at the support page of galaxy s6 and s6 edge handsets.

• It will fix the download and update issues of Google Play Store App

• Fixes the access issues on Visual Voice Mail

• Adds Google Search in Settings menu

• It removes the amazon music app from the handset

• Newly added ‘Send Premium SMS’ feature in Application Manager settings. They also add Memory option to view the amount of RAM memory used by apps.

• The user can answer the video call as a voice call; the audio will be routed to earpiece by default. The audio of video call will also come from speaker by default

• If the user connects the device using USB cable it will show more USB options (including file transfer) by default
