Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is now official and also up for preorder

Today Xiaomi has debut its upgraded version of Mi Max smartphone in China through live event. The successor model has named as Mi Max 2. After the announcement the company started to accept the preorder from Mi official store. Xiaomi extended the display bezel and cut-off the black outline in successor version. They have also made some major changes in hardware specs and design.

The mi max 2 now listed at official Mi store for preorder. It arrives in two models 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. The price of 64GB and 128GB storage models are 1699 yuan (Rs.15,980) and 1999 yuan (Rs.18,800). The release date for China set as June 1. The available color is gold only.

Xiaomi mi max 2 phablet comes with 6.44-inch Full HD (1080p) display, 2.5d curved glass and android nougat os with custom MIUI 8. It has qualcomm snapdragon 625 chipset and 2 GHz octa core processor. As we mentioned above it will be available in 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage variants. It houses hybrid dual sim tray so you can use microSD card by swapping the second sim slot. They have placed the fingerprint sensor at back side.

Coming to camera it has 12MP main camera that supports 4K video recording, f2.2 aperture, PDAF sensor, Sony IMX386 sensor, slow motion video and more features. It also has 5MP front camera that can deliver better low light images. Connectivity options are dual band wifi, infrared sensor, bluetooth 4.2, Type-C USB and GPS. It has big battery 5300 mAh with that you can play 18 hrs of video. The battery also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
